ABOUT ME

Poised.Leader.Lover of all describes Janet Adeola Songonuga. At 25 years old, her experiences in life since her birth in Nigeria, West Africa, all came full circle when she realized her sole purpose in life is to please God. She went to and graduated from Columbia High School in Maplewood,NJ. After spending three years at St. John University,  being involved with clubs like student government, engaging in boasting interviews on her bright future and accomplishments, as well as and being the face of the school as a Redstorm collegiate cheerleader. In spite of all this she still couldn't find her niche or understood her purpose. She became heavily consumed with the hook-up culture, casual sex culture, and became deeply hurt with our easy access society. She allowed many other things besides school to take her attention. After taking a semester off of school, she encountered God and received true salvation. Jesus Christ told her, her past no longer had to boggle her down, she could be set free. He told her Janet, 

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17 

She was set FREE. CHAINS were lifted and her life's purpose became clearer!

Janet Graduates with an Associates of Science degree in Paralegal Studies 'Cum Laude' from Essex County College Spring 2016.

Janet is now working on pursing her Bachelors in Political Science and will then be pursuing a J.D/MPH(Master of Public Health) degree . She has a passion to be a lawyer in improving Healthcare reform within the United States and around the world. She plans on intertwining her passion for people’s well-being health wise physically and mentally, but understands our lives can never be healed or complete unless one walks in the way of God. As God has ordained, she also plans on being a wife and a mother first and formost in the future.

Outside academic and work Janet enjoys keeping in shape, due to her past as a collegiate cheerleader for St. Johns University. She loves fitness. She is a proud member of her church Deeper Life Bible Church where she is part of the 30 piece orchestra, and a worker in the Church. Janet is currently a Student Fellow at the Loveand Fidelity Network  located in Princeton, NJ and serves to be a voice for the institution of marriage, the special role of the family in society, and the integrity of sex on her college campus.

She enjoys writing, in home childcare, tutoring young kids(education is power), helping others and encouraging others. 

She wants to see peoples souls filled and happy, by sharing the gospel and loving people as God loves her.

Janet is now Married to her Husband David by the special grace of God. She truly allowed God to write her love Story.
